Danah Boyd reaction

I think that this video gives an accurate portrait of how technology is used by not only most of the youth but also by adults. The research that was done gave pretty accurate results from what I know as a user of programs such as facebook and myspace. Everything that was mentionned was rather true, such as the fact that alot of people lie to the program about things such as their age, the reasons why people use programs differently and also the fact that some kids use it to show off who they are and express themself. It is also interresting to see how some consider the friend list as a source of social power and a cause of social drama and how most conversations are considered as a form of "social grooming". Technology has become an important player in society and continues to grow to this day still.
